Procedure for connecting to the APP Step 1:Download HBN APP to Add a Device

Please download HBN Smart or Smartlife app. Tap the icon”+” on the top right corner to add a device and choose socket(Wi-Fi).

Step 2:Log in to a 2.4GHz network

Note:Check whether your mobile device is connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.If your router is dual-band router,please select 2.4GHz network and then add smart switch.

Step 3:Hold the button

Press and hold power button on the smart switch for 5 seconds until the indicator light blinks slowly.

Note:There are 2 modes configurations(EZ mode/AP mode) available for you to choose before adding the device to App.EZ mode is recommended.

Step 4:The Smart plug is being connected

If the connection fails, try to reset and reconnect.Press hold the power button on the smart plug until the blue light blinks quickly,then re-link the smart plug with the APP.

How to connect to Alexa and Google Home ?

1.Modify device name so your Amazon Alexa can easily recognize the name.

2.Use Alexa App or Computer to set up your Amazon Alexa.

3.In the menu bar, go to ‘Skills’ and search for ‘Smart Life’.

4.Ask Alexa to discover devices.

Why can’t I download the HBN Smart APP?

During the APP upgrade, some Android users may not be able to download the HBN Smart APP. Customers can choose to use Smart life or Tuya smart APP.
